Complete car less engine, engine ECU, exhaust and gearbox.

She has the following fitted.

Isuzu front hubs and outer CV’s, Isuzu stub axle on rear with shogun outer CV’s, both with GKN shafts and Porsche inner CV’s onto BMW LSD diffs, with recently balanced props to Milner transfer box.

Twin 2” fox shocks all round (1 coil 1 non coil both non res on front, same with res on rear)

Saco steering rack with adjustable electric power steering. Willwood Dynalite 4 pot brake callipers front and rear, (with willwood mechanical handbrake callipers on rear), with EBC yellow pads, Braded hoses, and Willwood pedal box with front/rear balance bar.

20L foam filled Ali fuel tank, with braded hoses, in-line high pressure pump, and large filter, with return line to tank. Releasable steering wheel, twin vinyl seats, 3” 6 point Luke belts. Electric cut off switch. Large aluminium radiator with twin fans and two oil coolers, with remote filter

This car comes with loads of spares, cv’s, shafts, a diff, a steering rack, ball joints, rose joints, bushes, shocks, fuel pump and loads of wheels and tyres.

She did have a V8 and a Quaife sequential box fitted, but there should be enough space to fit most engines.

Also available by negotiation, a John Eales, triple plenum, triple throttle body, 5.2 ltr V8, with DTA management (wireing harness, and DTA S60PRO ecu). Currently with a Quaife heavy duty 6 speed sequential gearbox, via an AP 7.25” twin plate, 4 paddle clutch (new 2 events ago) with AP hydraulic concentric slave cylinder, she is still in the above so can be run.

Lets face it Tim, changing the logo aint gonna attract more people, if people want to come race they know who we are, theres only a few clubs that do comps and everyone knows NORC are comp only. You would be better coming up with some more usefull ideas if you are on a mission to attract people.

the "Old" jeepman logo was actually resurrected about 3 years ago ,if you see it on some clothing etc it looks very smart, there have been numerous "attempts" at new logos and nothing seems to cut it. Lets face it we have had it all this time why change it, thousands of other companys, institutions, keep their logo the same, seems to work worldwide!!

The Scottish Borders Hill Rally will be held 22-23 November, in the Newcastleton and Keshope forests, situated about 20 miles from Hawick. There is space for caravaning,camping and trucks, or you can stay in a warm, comfortable chalet wih shower and cooking facilities.

It's a National B event, and your vehicle does not need to be road legal, so the event is suitable for a large number of us who might not generally enter Hill Rallies.

Based on a 1995 Iveco Eurocargo 75E15, with just under 113,000 km's on the clock, she has a 6 ltr turbo diesel engine with a manual 5 speed gearbox, and is very easy to drive. MOT 12/08 and tax 03/09 (£175 a year).

It has a 20' aluminium box body fitted which I have converted to carry my race car to events and to be our accomodation.The walls are insulated, ply lined and carpeted. It sleeps 4 in comfort, with the front "L" shaped seat making into a double bed. The main bed folds down from the wall with a proper full size double mattress. There is a electric flush cassete WC (slide's outside for easy emptying etc). The kitchen area has a fridge (240v), a 3 burner hob with grill, and a sink with electric tap. (75 ltr drinking water)

There is room for a 13' long car with 6 heavy duty tie down points in the floor. With the car out and the bed folded down there is 6' at the rear to work from.

Outside there are steps for the side door and for the rear, and an 18' by 10' 6" awning on the side of the truck.

i have a chassis with a frame on that isnt being used but its got disco 2 axle mounts on it and it is 106" mandrel bent 2" cage cross in roof main hoop and door bars are also braced by a cross and i have the fia style bars to also put in it but havent had the chance yet it also has basic panels and some other bits.

Whenever the MSA brings in a new rule there is always an 18 month change over period to allow people to get stuff sorted and such like, so if the ruling was brought in in June 2008, the new ruling doesn't take effect until December 2009, after which you will no longer be able to use the blue sticker.

Yes John i have got them on my landrover and i found them very good in the mud at Manby as they are self cleaning (well i did not get bogged down despite a few big holes which i found), the Colway mud terrains that i used last year were crap in the mud at Manby. The tread appears to be faily aggressive and their is some additional side wall protection and so far i think they are quite good mud terrain tyre.

2 or 3 mats (normally about A4 to A3 size) in a bin bag (to keep them dry, ish) would be fine. Where you get them from or what brand they are don't matter, as long as they're there.

I get the arco kits as they seam good money for what you get.

At least we're giving you all a year's notice to run out your current stock of diamonds, and have a progressive change over period.

If we join with the AWDC and the BCCC we can hopefully stear the MSA in the direction that we want the sport to go.

surely this is something for the members to decide, as it is such a unpopular subject, (not everyone hasthe luxury of being near the pub where the comitee meet.

I agree bring in a tyre list, but only for the events that require one, but free tyres for those that don't (i.e. Manby, Stainby, Withworth, Wickenby......)

Please consult the drivers before doing anything - AWDC are already having to back peddle with their rule.

Spill kit's. You will all need to carry a small spill kit in the car from in 2009 (2 or 3 of the matts and a bin bag to put them in would be fine), less than £30 gets you a kit with 20 matts in to keep in the service vehicle (ARCO).

and (we're not going to be popular here I know)

After much debating we are going to introduce a new tyre rule, we will, like the AWDC adopt the hill rally tyre list, and i'll try and stick the list on here in a min.

So it's the end for the diamond tyre! kind of.

We are going to give you all a year to run out your current stock of diamonds (we will come up with a max tred depth so we have somthing to measue against). So if you've any new ones make sure that you use them a couple of times this year and they should be worn enough.

3.5 Rover V8 engine

Just put a 4.2 in the 90 so up for grabs is the origional factory fitted 3.5 V8.

It has 77k miles on it, no smoke, bangs or rattles, never missed a beat, just wanted more power!

Had top end rebuild at begining of the season when we swapped from carbs to EFI. This included a bore inspection and fitting of freshly regound valves and skimmed EFI heads (at much expense) on a composite gasket.

It is in excellent condition and i've never had any problems with it. I would keep hold of it but haven't got the room and could do with the money out of it for racing.

It is a stripped block so has heads still on, flywheel but not a lot else as I put most of the other stuff on the new engine.

Currently it has no injection system on it, but I have got a complete flapper system (plenum, ecu, airflow etc etc) and an extra incomplete system if your intrested.

Can sell block only, block and heads whatever suits. Also have the origional Carb heads if needed.

Think that's everything....make me an offer on whatever bits you want.

Chatted with Pete Urwin yesterday and he says as far as he is aware, the MSA have ruled out crash helmets with the blue british standard sticker. He is under the impression it was brought in last month so it has an 18 month period of which you can still use the helmet to allow time to get new ones. His advice is get a helmet with nothing less than a red british standard sticker! Hope this helps.

Hi, I've got Borg Warner 66" with SD1 bell housing and Ashcroft S111 transfer box, which is the same design as Pete's, except it dosn't have the Pete Roberts transfer box levers. It's ALRC aproved, just needs fitting to a v8 and the prop's bolting on, the only thing you would have to find is an oil cooler.
