New to Comp Safari Racing
Below are details you need in order to start racing.
Comp Safari Racing (or Cross Country, as is the new name adopted by the MSA) requires an MSA licence in order to race. You will need to register with the MSA and apply for your licence. The licence you need is the ‘Non race Clubman’. On the MSA website Comp Safari is referred to as Cross Country. You need to logon to their website to apply. Look on the website

Not sure whether you can apply online for your first licence, but you can also apply by post and details are online. By applying for your licence you will get the MSA Blue Book, giving you all rules and regulations of the MSA.
You can apply for NORC membership on our website. By becoming a member you will get all race event details sent out and you can race in each event – it costs £30 for the year and then each race event has a separate cost. It is renewed each year.
You also need to register for the championship (if you want to enter it) which is £10 for the year – this means you will get your points for each race registered.
You can become a member of the NORC website for free by registering online at www.norc.org.uk . This enables you to use the forum for discussions, questions you may have etc. It would be good to use for any questions you may have about competing or your vehicle etc.
